(BAD) It is possible to ONLY wear this Bluetooth piece on your right ear- you can't adjust the scale, shape, or direction from the earpiece.
(FAIR) The earpiece is lightweight and comfy to put on for too long conversations, if you can figure out how to wear it. The good thing is which it fits a tiny woman's ear reasonably well, nevertheless, you still cannot shape the ear-hook to suit perfectly.
(GOOD) It has an auto-command function for hands-free usage while driving. To access the auto-command menu you just hold within the power button until you hear a single beep, the menu then starts.
(GOOD) The volume key is a single button that cycles through your phone's sound levels. This earpieces has fantastic sound quality for the reason that I rarely need to turn the volume up at all- it's clear enough to well even on it's lowest setting.
(GOOD) Anyone on the other end sounds better after I use this Bluetooth piece within a call than after I use my cell phone's ear piece. The caller however claims I sound the same as I might basically were using every other phone's microphone.
(FAIR) The retail box contains limited instructions, the ear piece, plus an AC Charging cord. The is no USB cord to charge together with your computer, there aren't any extra ear hooks.
(GOOD) There was no technical bugs or issues, which is great. It paired easily with my mobile phone and contains perfect range without excess static. The Power/Pairing button was user friendly, it charges effectively as well as the volume switch can be a single button that you simply press repeatedly to cycle through different volumes.
In general, Plantronics UP230 Bluetooth Headset is a really decent product, though the lack a good right/left ear hook is quite disappointing.
